Privacy and Personal Data Policy


When you use our App or our services, you can be sure that your information is processed safely and well and at all times applicable rules on personal data.

We are always aware of how big a responsibility it is to handle your data, and we therefore focus on you and your rights.

In the following Privacy Policy, you can read about how we process your information. You can read about what information we collect and why we collect it. You will also be able to read more about your rights and about how you can manage and delete your information.


This policy describes the information we process to support Single Relations

1. Why are you collecting and processing data about me?

First and foremost, we process data about you to the extent necessary for our work. For example, we need some information about you in order for you to become a member of Single Relations and to ensure that you can use our service in the best possible and most efficient way. We must therefore, for example, use your personal data to be able to:

 

  • Create a profile for you
  • Match your profile with other profiles on Single Relations for dating purposes
  • Optimize service and compile statistics

 

In addition, we may also use your personal data for marketing internal products, including sending out offer emails, if you have agreed to this.

However, we only collect and process personal data if we have the right to do so and have a legitimate interest in it. Our right to collect data may be based in various places, e.g. in law or in a consent that you have given us.

When we process data about you, you always have the opportunity to contact us to hear what personal information we process about you and as well as to hear more about the possibility of having personal data deleted or one or more consents withdrawn, in whole or in part.

2. What kind of data do you collect about me?

Personal data covered by Articles 6 and 9 of the Personal Data Regulation are processed.

User

In order to get a user on Single Relations and be able to use our services, we must collect certain personal data about you. We collect parts of this personal data with your consent, where otherwise required by law.

Note that the processing of certain information is necessary to be able to offer a normal login procedure, as well as to match profiles. Without this information, you can not use Single Relations:

 

  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Name
  • Email address
  • Postcode City
  • Country
  • IP addresses used
  • Log activity on the service

 

We collect this information based on your consent, in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) and Article 9 (2) (a) of the Data Protection Regulation.

If you choose to use Facebook, Twitter, or gmail to create your profile, we collect if available gender, city, date of birth, email and profile picture from your Facebook, Twitter, or gmail profile and apply to your Single Relations profile.

 

In addition to the above required information, we also process the following information IF you choose to provide it. It is therefore voluntary to fill in the following:

 

  • Which gender you are looking for
  • What age are you looking for
  • What preferences you have for the people you are looking for
  • Your Bodytype
  • Your height
  • If you have children
  • If you want more children
  • Industry you work in
  • If you smoke
  • Your education
  • Your own description of you, as well as what you are looking for. Including interests, hobbies etc.
  • Your pictures
  • Messages sent to other profiles
  • Mobile number
  • GPS location on your mobile if you choose to turn on GPS in our app
 

We collect this information based on your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) of the Data Protection Regulation and your own publication of the information in Article 9 (2) (e).

Purchase

Purchase of goods / services

In order to provide the service that you have purchased, we need the following information:

– Name

– Phone number

– Email address

– Payment details

 

 

We collect this information based on the agreement we have entered into with you to provide the service in accordance with Article 6 (1) (b) of the Data Protection Regulation.

In addition, we have a legal obligation under national law to store certain personal data for accounting purposes for 5 years. We obtain this information in accordance with Article 6 (1). 1, letter c), and storage will take place after the goods have been delivered.

Marketing

In addition, we may also use your personal data for marketing internal products, including sending out offer emails, if you have agreed to this.

Inquiries

In addition, we also process:

  • Name IF you choose to disclose it to customer service.
  • Your written inquiries to customer service
  • Any telephone calls with customer service incl. Your phone number.

By accepting receipt of our newsletter, you also agree that we collect information about your name and email address.

We collect this information based on your consent, in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) of the Data Protection Regulation.

 

 

Automatic decisions

With our match algorithm (Love Life) we will make automatic decisions of your entered personal information by evaluating your personal preferences, interests, living conditions and geographical position in order to match your profile with other profiles on Single Relations, so that you receive relevant partner suggestions and can find the best partner for you. It also means that your profile can be displayed when other users use our match algorithm.

 

 

With our Group and Event algorithm (We Meet) we will make automatic decisions of your entered personal information by evaluating your personal preferences, interests, living conditions and geographical position in order to match your profile with other profiles on Single Relations, so that you receives relevant We Meet suggestions and Event suggestions and can find the best We Meet groups and Singles that are interesting to you. It also means that your profile can be displayed when other users use our We Meet and Event function.

 

With our Chat function, which is integrated into the Single Relations platform and many different functions, we will make automatic decisions of your entered personal information by displaying your name and link to your profile, where your personal preferences, interests, living conditions and geographical position appear, in order to match your profile with other profiles on Single Relations. This means that your profile can be displayed when other users use our chat functionality across Single Relations in all functions.

 

 

With our search algorithms, sorting algorithms and filter functions (users’ search, sorting and filtering across all functions in Single Relations) we will make automatic results for other users of your entered personal information (if they search for your name, location , city, age, gender, #tags, titles, descriptions, metadata related to posts, We Meet groups, events, chat groups, picture / test posts in our Feed (picture gallery for posts) you refer to in or manage) by showing your personal preferences, interests, living conditions as well as geographical position in order to match your profile with other profiles on Single Relations. It also means that your profile on Single Relations can be displayed when users on Single Relations use our search functions, sorting functions and filtering functions.

5. What rights do I have?

As we collect personal data about you, you have some rights that we would like to make you aware of.

You have the right to:

* To receive information about a processing of your personal data (duty to provide information)

* To gain insight into your personal data (right of access)

* To have incorrect personal data corrected (the right to rectification)

* To have your personal data deleted (the right to be forgotten)

* To object to the use of personal data for direct marketing

* Moving your personal data (data portability)

 

Right to access personal information

You have the right to gain insight into the personal data that Single Relations processes about you, cf. Article 15 of the Personal Data Ordinance. Access may, however, be restricted for reasons of trade secrets and / or intellectual property rights.

Correction or deletion of personal data

If you believe that the information that Single Relations (epow) processes about you is incorrect or incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted, in accordance with Articles 16 and 17 of the Personal Data Regulation.

If we agree with you that the information we process is incorrect or incorrect, we will delete or correct this information as soon as possible.

However, deletion will not take place if Single Relations (epow) is legally obliged to store all or part of your personal data, or it is necessary to store this personal data in order for a legal claim to be established or defended. In that case, Single Relations (epow) will only store the information to which Single Relations (epow) is legally obliged or entitled and will delete other personal data about you.

Withdrawal of consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to Single Relations (epow) processing of your personal data in whole or in part at any time, in accordance with Article 7 of the Personal Data Regulation.

If you withdraw your consent, Single Relations (epow) will cease to process the personal data to which you have revoked your consent in relation to, unless Single Relations (epow) is legally obliged or entitled to store all or part of your personal data . In that case, Single Relations (epow) will only store the information to which Single Relations (epow) is legally obliged and will delete other personal data about you. Your withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that Single Relations (epow) has conducted until your withdrawal of the consent.

If you withdraw your consent to the processing of data necessary for the use of Single Relations (epow), we will be forced to delete all of your data, as your profile will not function without this necessary data.

To withdraw your consent in part, you can simply delete the data you no longer want us to process, this is possible with the list of voluntary information mentioned above, as well as the different types of emails you receive. You can e.g. withdraw the consent to receive e-mails with offers in return, by simply pressing “Unsubscribe” in such e-mail.

To withdraw your consent completely, simply delete your profile. You can do this under Menu / “My profile” -> “My settings”. After this, it usually takes 30 days before we delete the data completely.

 

Alternatively, you can always contact us by email info@singlerelations.com and have the data deleted with immediate effect.

 

Objection

You have the right to object to Single Relations (epow) processing of your personal data at any time. You can also object if you believe that your personal data is being processed in violation of applicable rules or the consent you have given to Single Relations (epow), in accordance with Article 21 of the Personal Data Regulation.

 

Restriction

You have the right to have limited Single Relations (epow) processing of your personal data in the following cases, cf. Article 18 of the Personal Data Regulation:

* While Single Relations (epow) processes an objection that you have made against the accuracy of the personal data that Single Relations (epow) processes about you or against the legality of the processing. The limitation of processing applies until Single Relations (epow) has completed processing your objection.

* Single Relations (epow) processing is illegal, but you do not want the deletion of the information, but only that the use of personal data is restricted.

 

Data portability

When our processing of your personal data is based on consent or a contract, and our processing is carried out automatically, you have the right to data portability.

The right to data portability means that you have the right to receive the personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, which you have the right to transfer to another service provider, in accordance with Article 20 of the Personal Data Regulation.

If you wish to make use of one or more of these rights, simply contact info@singlerelations.com with your request.

We will process and respond to your inquiry as soon as possible and no later than one month after we receive your inquiry, unless the complexity and scope of the request means that we are unable to respond within one month. In that case, the deadline for reply may be up to 3 months in total, in accordance with Article 12 of the Personal Data Regulation.
